My wife and I just enjoyed our vacation here for the 15th year in a row and have never had a bad experience. This year we had 10 family members join us and they all will be back. All the rooms face the Ocean and its always clean and comfortable. All rooms have a private balcony and a fireplace with a big refrigerator and sleeping with the screen door shut and hearing the waves can really make for a great night sleep.| While we were there, they replaced all the mattress in every room added more to their breakfast room and every year we see upgrades all over the hotel. |I can't say enough about the staff there either. Jay and Rafael are the most polite and helpful people you will ever meet. The cleaning staff who have all been there for a long time do a fantastic job day in and day out and have never had to complain about anything. I even noticed one day a lady out picking up trash in the parking lot and later found out it was the owner. |Everything you need is within walking distance. grocery store bars and restaurants coffee shops and Mexican and Italian food and sports bars. |I highly suggest if you want a beach getaway to go here. We love it so much and wont vacation anywhere else and have decided to now go twice a year because for a beach front getaway it is very affordable. Thanks to the people who work here and the owner for keeping this place affordable clean and a great experience.

We have been to a lot of hotels but this one was literally 10 out of 10. The staff is literally the best part. The gentleman who works in the mornings is such a gem. So sweet and accommodating. Our room was great, we were traveling with with our 3 little guys 10, 2 and 1 years old and it was very sufficient for everyone involved. The views were as advertised and gorgeous. Beds were definitely comfy too. Very nice to be able to walk right up to the beach with having kids. Will definitely be back

We have been going to Inn on the Beach for the last 13 years when our boys were babies (Now 15 and 13). The staff is incredibly friendly and treat us like family. They greet you by name and make you feel welcome immediately. The location is right on the sand with a quick walk to the water and beautiful balconies to have a spectacular ocean view. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept on and we want to buy one for own home! The original wallpaper adds to the history of the inn, but the upgrades over the last few years are beautiful as well. There is a convenient and delicious breakfast spread every morning. Overall, the Inn on the Beach is a hidden gem 😃

Best location and great deal! Easy, quick, and welcoming check-in, being able to hear the waves from my room, having a fireplace, the shower with endless hot water, everything was a great respite during a long trip and after a rough few days. They also give an hour of parking after check out so I was able to get some extra time at the beach. 4 stars for a few reasons; the room had some areas that could have been a little cleaner (dusty areas like behind the tv which I have included a picture of), and as other reviewers have mentioned, the first floor patio is shared which really did take away from my enjoyment of the space. I was woken early to children running around right outside my room, and the family next door took both the patio chairs for my room for their own use. I get that the patio is one long section but think there must be a way to create better barriers so instances like this don't happen. I really think considering this is an aspect of the stay that many reviewers have highlighted, it is worth trying to improve the experience for guests in the future. The bed was super comfortable, but the pillows felt cheap compared and I personally wish they were more plushy and supportive as I had to use 3 of the 4 provided for myself.

If you are looking for some peace and quite this may not be the hotel for you. It is charming and on the beach with a fireplace. I came here for a much needed break to unwind and destress and fall asleep to the ocean. Instead I got very noisy drunken people that shared the downstairs area with me. I reported them to the front desk three times and they were very unhelpful. I was told that they did not know what room it was when I told them it was directly to the left of me. At 10.50pm I lost my cool and had to tell them to please keep it down. The front desk did nothing.

While the location and the beach were amazing, perfect for my spouse and I to watch our kids (8 & 10) play in the surf and in the sand, the Inn itself left a LOT to be desired. First, the room had no A/C, which wasn’t a deal breaker, except the only circulation possible was with a tiny fan (provided) and leaving the sliding door unlocked and open. The sliding door led to a SHARED patio area, which was (marginally) separated from the public beach. So to try to stay cool, you have to allow other Inn residents, and possibly anyone on the beach to have access to your room. However, a much bigger deal for our family was the total lack of towel bars in the entire space. For a beach hotel, compounded by two kids, there was nowhere to hang wet towels or swim suits. The bathroom didn’t even have towel bars for the provided towels (hand nor body). The room and bathroom had recently (5 years or so) been remodeled, so there is really no reason for this omission.

It was a pleasant experience . I thought it was thru the room toward the view of the beach . You could walk onto the beach but it's actually closed off. You have to walk around the hotel toward the back and the beach is there! It was a beautiful experience and view ! The rooms are very tiny but beautiful not much privacy ! And the fireplace is awesome ! The fast food restaurants made me sick nearby on harbor blvd ! We loved our stay and jay was very helpful at the front desk ! Was not discriminating at all ! Very kind man ! I stayed here 2 days and it was very quiet ,

We have stayed at the inn on the Beach a few times as you cannot beat the view, the service and it is just such a nice quiet place to either relax or work. The entire staff is so accommodating and if there is anything you need, they take care of it right away. Sunsets are amazing! Breakfast and coffee on your patio feels like a stress reset. This is a boutique hotel with period furnishings but everything is clean and comfortable.
